BATH- Ethel E. Hoad, 74 of Campbell Creek Road, Howard NY, died July 27, 1984 at her home.
Born in the town of Pulteney, NY, she was the daughter of Albert and Rose Bagley Stewart. She lived in Howard for 7 years,and previously resided in Cohocton NY. She was the widow of John Hoad and Lewis S. Draper.
She was a former member of the Avoca American Legion Auxiliary and the Dansville Ladies of the Moose.
She is survived by a daughter, Lillian Magill; four stepdaughters, Betty Rumsey of Clearwater Florida, Barbara Buckley of saint Petersburg Fla, Milly Stock of Campbell NY and Louise Osborne of Bath NY; two brothers, John Stewart of Corning NY and William Stewart of Painted Post; two sisters, Edna Chriscaden of Painted Post NY and Minnie Anthony of Seneca Falls NY; eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held at the Bond-Davis Funeral home. Services were held there with the Rev. William Woughter officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
