"Retired Farmer Found Dead at Charlton Today"
"Joseph Moore was found dead in bed this morning at his home near Charlton, aged about 70 years. Mr. Moore was apparently in good health when he retired last night and examination showed that he died from heart disease about 1 o'clock this morning. He was a well known retired farmer. Besides his widow, who is a sister of County Commissioner Dallar Ward, he is survived by the following sons and daughters: Hubert, Abraham, and Herman at Charlton; Gordon, in Pennsylvania; Stanley... Mrs. Roy Ebersole and Mrs. John Shupp of Charlton, and Mrs. Malcolm Yeakler, of Hagerstown.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from his home. Services by Rev. William Diehl. Interment at St. Paul's cemetery on the Western pike."
