Frank A Rickards, 84, died Wednesday, March 23, at his home after a long illness. Mr. Rickards was retired from his job as a packing house employee.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, March 24 at the Robarts-Grady Chapel with Rev. Uel Dixon and Rev. A. P. Minshaw officiating. Interment followed in Ft. Myers Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Nora L. Rickards of Arcadia; two children, David Rickards of Ft. Myers and Mrs. T. P. Wyatt of Delray Beach; two step-children, Harvey Garner of Miami and Mrs. Chester Roberts of Arcadia; and ten grandchildren.
He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Ida Heisel of Los Angeles, California.
The pallbearers were the deacons of the First Baptist Church in Fort Myers. Robarts-Grady Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
