Funeral services for Mrs. Diantha E. Morris, who died Wednesday at at the family residence, were held in the Eight Ward Chapel. Bishop John Betzer officiated. The body may be view at the S.M. Taylor and Company in the morning of the day of the funeral.

Diantha Empie Morris was born 11-27-1848 in Echo Canyon while her parents William and Mary Ann Empie were enroute to the Salt Lake Valley.

Scores of intimates lovingly knew Mrs.Morris as "Muzzie". She was a sister of the late Bishop Nelson Empey.

Surviving are 2 sons, William and Roy, two daughters, Mrs. F.H. Hocking and Mrs. J. Dunlop, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.
