Funeral rites were read last Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Milburn Baptist Church for Malcome Roy Allen, 63, a former Milburn resident. Allen was living at Pauls Valley at the time of his death.
Allen was born July 28, 1917 at Milburn and reared in the Lawton area. He moved to Pauls Valley a few months ago. He spent 28 years in the military service in the medical supply section. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea and affiliated with the Baptist Church.
Allen was married to Mary Crowson on Jan. 8, 1946 in Tishomingo. Survivors include his wife, Mary of Tishomingo; two sons, Robert Allen of Lawton and James Allen of Muskogee; and two grandchildren.
Rev. Byron Ramsey officiated at the service. Interment was in Condon Grove Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral home.
