Lorrie was born on February 10, 1938 in Lovilia to Charles A. and Wreatha L. (Smith) Slay. She was a 1957 graduate of Lovilia High School. She married Emory Riseley in 1960 at the Hamilton Methodist Church, and they had two sons: James and Curtis. They divorced, and she later married Everett Rouse; and they also divorced. She worked as an LPN at the Knoxville Veterans Administration Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Bussey Independent Bible Church, and the Ladies Aid.
Lorrie Passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Carol Davis. She is survived by her two sons: James (Ingkid) Riseley of Maryland, and Curtis Riseley of Hamilton; two grandchildren: Brian and Danielle Riseley; and one sister Janice (Dick) Klobnak of Hamilton.
