IN MEMORIAM
Whereas, it has pleased Almighty God to take from us one of our beloved, Sister Comrades, of the Confederacy, Mrs. Mary Jane Montgomery. Sister Montgomery filled her place at home and supplied the food and other necessities of the Confederate Government to maintain the cause, as loyally and patriotically as men who went to the battle front.
Therefore, be it resolved by the members of the Tift County Camp of Confederate Veterans, that we extend to our brother and Comrade, G. W. Montgomery and family our sincere sympathy, and join them in mourning the loss of wife and mother.
Resolved, that these resolutions be spread upon the Minutes of the Camp, and a copy be sent the family of the deceased.
Respectfully submitted,
J. A. Yarbrough,Henry D Webb, J. H. Hutchinson, Committee
