Owen Clarence, 75, Albion, died Saturday at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Oct. 3, 1909 in Noble County, the son of Fred and Clara (Diffendarfer) Owen. He married Virginia B. Deutsch July 6, 1940. He moved from Green Twp to Albion in 1961 and had been a Noble County Highway Department employee many years. He was a member of Green Center United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Riley (Luana) Walker, Albion; a son, Larry, Bluffton; two sisters, Mrs. Everett (Edith) Bonar, LaOtto, and Mrs. Max (Velma) Kiester of Kimmell; three brothers, Leo of Kimmell, Woodward and Dale, both of Albion; and six grandchildren. A son, Charles David and an infant daughter preceded him in death. Services Wednesday at the Sheets Funeral Home, Churubusco. Burial, Eel River Cemetery.
