Mrs. Mary Belle Barry, widow of Capt. John E. Barry of Paris, died Wednesday afternoon in Guthrie, Okla., where she had been seriously ill some time.

Burial will be made here Saturday by the side of her husband in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, after a brief service set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Manton-Fry Funeral Home here, conducted by the Rev. Travis A. White, minister of First Christian Church. A service will be held in Guthrie Friday afternoon before departing for Paris.

Mrs. Barry leaves a sister, Mrs. R. H. Scrivner here; a son, Charles G. Barry of Guthrie, and four grandchildren, Charles Benton Barry of Breckenridge, and Mrs. Paul Parker, Bettie Belle and John Barry of Guthrie.

She was born September 12, 1861, in Paris, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Walker, and made her home here many years. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy chapter in Oklahoma City, her father having served in the Confederate Army, she was long active in the work of the Christian Church.
