Geneva Ida Wynkoop, 69, passed away at the North Country Hospital in Bemidji on Wednesday, March 21, 1990. Mrs. Wynkoop was born October 19, 1920 in Gonvick, Minnesota to parents Hans and Mathilda Haaksvold. She attended school in Clearwater County, graduating from Bagley High School in 1941. Her marriage to Frank Wynkoop took place in Bemidji on February 24, 1943. The Wynkoop's have lived in Shevlin Township since their marriage. For ten years she worked at the Shevlin School as a teachers aid. She loved to do craft work and was a loving mother, wife and Homemaker for her family

She is survived by her husband, Frank of Shevlin; six sons, Frank Jr of Shevlin, Allen of Puposky, Steven of Becker, Gary of Leonard, Robert of Shevlin and David of Shevlin; fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four sisters, Iola Johnson of Leonard, Lorraine Frazel of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Edna Kamerling of San Diego, California, Mavis Lentine of Chicago, Illinois; one brother, Lawrence Stenstad of Snohomish, Washington.

Mrs. Wynkoop was preceded in death by her parents, One brother, Orville and two sisters Olava and Helene.

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 26 at 1 p.m. at the Clearwater Lutheran Church of Shevlin. The Rev. Fred Wynkoop and Rev. Roger Rotvold will officiate and burial will be made in the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley. Pallbearers were Mrs. Wynkoops six sons.
