Mrs. Lucile Slay Fallo, of Biloxi, MS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2005, in the loving embrace of her family.
Mrs. Fallo was a past Queen of Revelers, past Queen of Bilikins, President of the Italian-American Society, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Elks Lodge #606 of Biloxi and a devoted parishioner of Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Cathedral.
It was always a point of pride with Lucile (a protestant) that she was elected president of the Notre Dame Parent's Association. This was the motivation for her conversion to Catholicism.
Lucile was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic Fallo, her son, Dale Fallo and infant daughter, Willie Jo. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William Gray and Willie Slay, her sisters, Katherine Gutierrez, Margot Walker, Eunice Cowan and Lois Romero and her brothers, William Gray "Dub" Slay, Jr., and Rafield Slay.
Survivors include her son, Dane Fallo; her sister, Shannon Baffes; six grandchildren, Debbie Fallo, Danielle Fallo-Smith, Dominic Fallo, II, Maria Strong, Fabian Fallo and Angela Warren and seven great grandchildren.
She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. There were many.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Nativity B. V. M. Catholic Cathedral where friends may visit one hour before service time. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
