Sadie P. (Johnson) Lewis, age 79 of Brookville, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, surrounded by her family. Sadie was a former longtime resident of Lewisburg where she
worked for 20 years as a waitress at Loy's Dari Twist, and was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. She was a former President and Secretary of the Englewood Heck Center Seniors where she enjoyed playing Bingo and Cards with her friends. She had also been active with the Vandalia
Seniors and the Sears Retiree Club. Sadie was an avid bowler and was one the top area female bowlers for many years.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Martin & Julie Lewis of Brookville, Scott & Debra Lewis of Bainbridge, OH, Daniel Lewis of Lenoir City, TN, daughters and sons-in-law: Debra & David Jenkins of Kodak, TN, and Shari & Jeff Creech of Arcanum, OH, brothers and sisters-in-law: Ralph & Arlene Shaffer of IL, Ralph Johnson of IA, Bill (Elaine) Johnson of Enon, OH, and Richard Johnson of New Lebanon, sisters-in-law: Colleen Johnson of TN, and Eleanor Johnson of FL, sister and brother-in-law: Jeanne & Paul Raper of FL, brother-in-law: Bill Self of IL, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, special friend: Betty Banfill, and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life: Ronald B. Lewis in 1999,father: Lewis L. Johnson, mother: Edith Hinkley Johnson, and step-mother: Gabrielle Smith Shaffer, brothers: Henry, David, Bob & Eugene Johnson, and Tom & Howard Shaffer, and a sister: Joyce Ann Self.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, at the Kindred Funeral Home 400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Chaplain Phil Marxson officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville.
