Harold Richards passed away Dec. 28, 1999 at the Cottonwood Hospital in Murray, Utah.

Born July 12, 1910 in Union, Ut. to James Earl and Myrtle Forbush Richards.

Married Eva Mae Olsen Oct. 30, 1935 in Murray, UT, solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Dec. 2, 1938.

Harold was very active in the LDS Church serving as Bishop's counselor, counselor in Stake Presidency, many teaching positions and served in the Jordan River Temple for seven years.

Employed as a salesman.

Retired from Salt Lake County Judicial System in 1981.

Graduated from Jordan High School and attended BYU in Salt Lake.

Survived by wife; children, Susan (Randy) Rizek, Nancy (James) Latimer, Daniel H. Richards; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers and sisters, Don Richards, Gene Richards, Doris Beckstead, Norma LaPointe, Mildred Breeton.

Funeral is on Friday, 12 noon at the Hillcrest Ward, 495 East 5600 South.

Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., and Friday at the church from 11 to 11:45 a.m.

Interment Murray City Cemetery.
