Ms. Toni Antonette Watkins, 47, of 516 Hettie Hill, Gaffney, SC, passed Friday, January 1, 2010.
Daughter of Thelma Dawkins Watkins of Gaffney and the late James Arthur Watkins, she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, Class of 1981, and attended Bennett College in Greensboro, NC. She was last employed at Adidas Sportswear in Spartanburg.
She is survived by her mother, Thelma Dawkins Watkins; and her uncle, James Dawkins, who reared her as a daughter; three sisters, Janet Hemphill and Matilda Watkins, both of Gaffney, and Phyllis Robinson of Gastonia, NC; and her grandmother, Lillie Watkins of Gaffney.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 2:30 PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Freddy Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
She will lie in state at 1:30 PM.
Foster Funeral Home of Gaffney in charge of arrangements.
