Last Rites Held Dec. 9 For Marcia Siemers
Funeral services for Mrs. Gilbert Siemers of Cylinder were held Dec. 9 at 1:30 p.m. from St. Paul's Lutheran church in Emmetsburg. The Rev. Gary Dassow officiated.
Marcia Lorraine Kuhn was born March 19, 1944 in Emmetsburg to Lyle and Wilma Wickman Kuhn. She and Gilbert Siemers were married May 26, 1962 at Rock Island, III. She was a lifetime resident of this area and died on Dec. 6 at the Palo Alto County Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert; three children, Gilbert, Jr., Gerald and Holly; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Kuhn of Rodman; and three sisters, Mrs. Milton (Barbara) Diveney, Conesville, Mrs. Gerald (Ronda) Myers, Rodman, and Sue Kuhn, Rodman.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery with the Martin Funeral Home in charge. Casket bearers were Robert Bergstrom, Verlyn Smith, Kenneth Vonnahme, Vincent Lammers, Glen Moser, and Marvin Phelps.
Mrs. Andrew Truelson was the organist for the services and Dianne Schmidt the vocalist.
