Mrs. Laura Cousins Howard, 75, of 213 2nd St. here, died at 12:40 p.m. Saturday (March 27, 1965) in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, Where She had been a patient since Jan 4. In ill health six months, Mrs. Howard was a daughter of the late John Cousins and of Mrs. Gisela Brison Cousins of Mosgrove, who died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at her home. Mrs. Howard was born in Kittanning, Jan. 2, 1890, and was a member of Freeport Free Methodist Church. Before moving to Freeport in 1943, she lived in Templeton. Mrs. Howard leaves six daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Madeline) Beer, Mrs. Merle (Gisela) Myers, Mrs. Clare (Lasinda) Wolf, Mrs. Donald (Wanda) (Theoris) Plants, all of Freeport Schrecengost and Mrs. William and Mrs. Steven (Sara) Salinka of Natrona Heights; three sons, John E., William B. and Lewis D. Howard, all of Feeport; seven brothers, Arthur Cousins of Kecksburg, Simon of Niles, Ohio, Edward of Youngstown, and Harry, James, John, and William Cousins of Mosgrove; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Elma) Boggs of Adrian, Mich, and Mrs. Merle (Isabella) Painter of Erie, 30 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Howard-Friends of Mrs. Laura Cousins Howard of Freeport, who died Saturday (March 27, 1965), will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in Walters-Fullerton Funeral Home, 324 4th St., Freeport, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Earle Smith, pastor of Freeport Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Brookland Cemetery, Allegheny Township. Arrangements by Walterf-Fullerton.
