Julie Hemenway Webb, age 69, of Plano, Texas passed away September 13, 2007 at her residence. She was born June 21, 1938, in Mineola, New York to Sumner and Lucy (Barrett) Waters. On July 20, 1997 she married Allan Webb in Dallas, Texas.
Julie taught school for many years in the Richardson ISD, Waxahachie ISD, and Winston Private School. She taught and traveled the world. Julie was a loving mother, grandmother and an avid gardener all her life.
She is survived by her husband, Allan C. Webb of Plano, Texas; children, William Hemenway and his wife, Jan of Anna, Texas, Leslie Barrett Hemenway and her husband, Patrick Nolan of McKinney, Texas and John Hemenway and his wife, Kelly of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Madison, Lauren, Katelin, Ryan, Sean and Hannah; sister, Jeanne Peck and her husband, Larry of West Long Branch, New Jersey; brother, Col. Sumner (Chip) Waters and his wife, Karen of Bermuda; step-mother, Mrs. Mary Louise Waters of Port Washington, New York and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Michael Sumner Hemenway. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Mark Forrest officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
