HISTORY: Harry was the part owner of the Gem Clay Forming Company in Alliance, Ohio - which was a pottery that made pieces which were sold to various china companies that in turn put their own colors, decorations, whatever on the pieces and then sold them under their own name. Before moving to Alliance around 1906 0r 1907, the company was in East Liverpool and made gas mantels, among other things. (Trish)
