She was born Nov. 4, 1919 in Thomasville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fulton where she was a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School Director and WMU Leader. She was a member of the Fulton School PTA.
Survivors include her son, Lavaughn (Debbie) Fendley Jr., Fulton; two daughters, Sarah F. (Charles) Bouler, Grove Hill, Delores F. Booker, Fairhope; two sisters, Mary Anna Milstead, Maylene, Virginia McHaney, Saraland; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavaughn Fendley.
The service was Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Fulton with Revs. Keith Johnson and Jack Wright officiating. Burial was in the Henley Cemetery in Fulton.
Active pallbearers were Chester Andrews Jr., Jeremy Fendley, Gene Reynolds, Jimmy Earl Davis, Pratt Patton, Mike Norris, Sammy Fendley and Henry Burge.
Honorary pallbearers were Imogene Fendley, Betty Bradford, Louise Andrews, Nellie Marie Prewett, Lucille Fendley, Lillian Faile, Wintry Faile, Kathy Norris, Billy Fendley and Vivian Mott.
