Penny was my paternal great grandmother. She married George Washington Davis on December 26, 1877 in Lanesboro, Anson County, North Carolina. Penny and George had 13 children. All lived to adulthood and had families of their own except for one female child who died as an infant.

Penny's death certificate shows she died on November 6, 1947 so her headstone has the wrong month on it.
