Mrs. Allen passed away Sunday in a Dallas Hospital. She was born in Terrell, TX. to Eddie and Ruth Elenore (Knowles) Deelaney. Mrs. Allen had resided in Red Oak for the past 42 years, moving from Alice,TX.Her survivors include: husband, Jerry L. Allen; sons, Skipper Allen, Lamar Allen, Wade Allen, Jerry L. Allen, Jr; daughter and son-in-law, Debra Ann and Johnny B. Johnson; three brothers, one sister; eleven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son,Gean L. Allen.
Interment followed in the Red Oak Cemetery.
