Sunday, October 23, 1955

Edward D. May, 72-year-old resident of Route 4, died Friday morning in a Dallas hospital after a long illness. A resident of this city for the last 13 years, he formerly resided at Earl, Ark.

He was a member of the Methodist Church and of the Modern Woodmen of the World.

Surviving are four sons, Arthur of Dallas, Joe G. of Earl, Ark., Edward D., Jr. of Oklahoma City and Lloyd B. of Cedar Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Clinton Prater of Malvern, Ark., and Mrs. Joe E. Walker of Corpus Christi; 20 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Johnny Long and Mrs. Jimmy Smith, both of Dallas; and Mrs. Lela Dennis of San Angelo.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Farmers Branch.
