John was born October 27, 1933, in Pierz, MN, to Milton and Gertrude (Prozinski) Kerkhoff. He was a life-long Morrison County resident. John enjoyed books, animals and the company of friends.
Survivors include his mother, Gertrude of Little Falls; brother, Milton, Jr. of Chicago, IL; a sister, June Musielewicz of St. Cloud, MN; nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton in August of 1996; grandparents and one nephew.
Casketbearers were Dean Young, Wilma Johnson, Sylvia Wester, Heidi Olson, Robert Toews and Bruce Krych.
