Helen White-Schermerhorn was the daughter of Henry White and Anne Van Cortlandt. She married Abraham Schermerhorn on Sept 12 1809, together they had 9 children. Caroline Webster Schermerhorn Astor aka: "Lina" she married William Backhouse Astor, their son and Abraham's Grandson was Col. John Jacob Astor IV who died aboard the Titanic.
