Mrs. Gaines was a native of Lincoln County. She was a housewife and a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ.
She is survived by her parents, Jimmy and Mary Jane McKinney of Shelbyville; husband, Greg Gaines, and children, Cheyenne Brooklyn Gaines and Tyler McKinney Dixson, all of Petersburg; stepson, Christopher Neal Gaines of Decherd; and sister, Jamey (Jeff) Wheat of Petersburg.
Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, from the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Ray King officiating, followed by burial in Melson Cemetery.
