Jill Elaine Snyder, 51, of Arcanum, Ohio went home on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 1:50 PM at Heartland of Greenville.

She was born on June 11, 1957 in Greenville, Ohio to Samuel (Sharon) Riegle of New Madison, Ohio and her late mother Shirley Moyer Riegle.

Jill worked as a RN at Wayne Hospital for many years. She was a nurse's aid at Wayne Hospital and the Brethren Retirement Community.

She was a member of the Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church and was a past president and active member of the Wayne Professional Nurses Association. She was a graduate of Tri-Village High School and was a 1993 Graduate of Edison Community College nursing program.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her husband Joe Snyder of Arcanum, Ohio whom she married on June 10, 1978, children; Elaine Snyder of Toledo, Ohio and Allen (Sherri Eddleblute) Snyder of Fairfax, Virginia, sisters and brothers in law; Jacqueline (Jose) Guevara of Houston, Texas, Ann (Brent) Riegle-Coursey of Greenville, Ohio and Samantha (Jason) Buckley of New Madison, Ohio, step sister and brother in law; Bridgett (Joe) Griffore of Battle Creek, Michigan, step brother and sister in law; Jeff (Trista) Zumbrun of Greenville, Ohio, brothers in law & sisters in law; Rick (Trudy) Snyder of New Madison, Ohio, Dave (Christine) Snyder of New Madison, Ohio and Nancy Snyder of Greenville, Ohio, uncles; Tom (Faith) Riegle of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, Donald Moyer of Greenville, Ohio, Roger (Bonita) Moyer of Greenville, Ohio and Marvin (Eva) Shuttleworth of Greenville, also survived by a niece, several nephews, cousins, loving friends and co-workers.

There will be a service held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville with the Pastor Doug Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenmound Cemetery, New Madison, Ohio.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 3-7 PM at the funeral home.
