1989, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
He was a veteran of World War II.
He was a retired welding engineer and a member of Local Union
227 in Columbia. He also taught at Newberry County Vocational
Center.
He was a member of New Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia L. Medlock of the home, two
daughters, Betsy M. Campbell of Newberry and Mrs. Phil (Eunice)
Trefsgar of Chapin; a son, James E. Medlock, Jr. of Newberry;
two sisters, Martha F. Smith of Dallas, Ga., and Alma Harvey of
Clinton; and two brothers, Lewis A. Medlock of Whitmire and
Luther Medlock of Joanna.
Services: 2 p.m. at New Chapel United Methodist Church.
