Lelia Joyce Weems, age 82, of Prosper, Texas, passed away January 3, 2013, in Prosper. Lelia was born January 13, 1930, in Frisco, Texas, to Millard Eugene and Nora Frances (Morris) Smith. She married James Earl Weems on November 6, 1948, in Frisco.
She is survived by her children, Ronnie Weems and wife, Cathy of Whitesboro, Texas, Rickie Weems and Gay Potvin of Prosper, Texas, and Brenda Browning and husband, Paul, also of Prosper; grandchildren, Hannah Weems, Jamie Dugan and husband, Drew, Jon Weems and Mandy, Thomas Savoy, Shelby Savoy, and Brittany Browning; great-grandchildren, Melody, Mason, and Gavin; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and six sisters.
