Mildred Otheree LaVow, 73, of Phoenix, passed away on December 29, 2009.
She is survived by six children, Guinetta Sparks, Alfredo Sparks Sr. (Norma), Kirk Sparks Sr. (Joyce), Yancy LaVow Sr., Yevette LaVow, and Jacqueline Bradford (Mitchell); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by four of her children, Patricia Ann Climmons, Marvella Cummings, Jacque LaVow Jr., and Phillipi LaVow.
Visitation will be Friday Jan. 8th from 5-8pm at New Jerusalem Baptist Church 3514 W Grove St. Phoenix. Funeral service Sat. Jan. 9th 11am at New Hope House of the Living God 3819 N 27th Ave. Phoenix. Interment at Tempe Double Buttes Cemetery. Preston Funeral Home service the family.
