From FaG Contributor #47677119:
In addition to his lands in Virginia, Emanuel Pitman also owned land in Harrison County, Indiana where some of his family had removed. In his will, he directed that his Indiana lands be sold, which required them to be separately probated in that state.
Accordingly, a copy of his Virginia will dated 07 Jul 1848 with one codicil were entered into probate in Harrison County, and thus the complete copy of his will is now available online at Ancestry.
One of the first items in Emanuel's will was his request to be laid to rest "...in the grave yard upon the lands of Lawrence Keller.”
