David, age 61, passed away suddenly on Monday in Madison. David was born the son of the late David G. & Edith Rose (Hertzfeld) Hope Sr. He was united in marriage to Penny Leavitt. David enjoyed camping, road trips, music, animals and Harleys. He was well versed and active in the art of astrology and calligraphy. David is survived by his dear wife, Penny; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Roberto Rivera) Leavitt-Moy; and two brothers, including his identical twin, Dana W. Hope and Peter J. "Cowboy" Hope. He is further survived by many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Timothy R. Hope. A Memorial Service was held at noon on Friday at Cress Funeral Home, Madison with the Rev. Ralph Leavitt officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. Cress Funeral and Cremation Service assisted the family.
