She was born April 14, 1930 in Paragonah, Utah to Harvey Ensign & Ellen Jane Talbot Dunton.
She married a "Beaver Boy" Jay Verley Boyter September 19, 1947 in Paragonah, Utah and their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on January 31, 1964.
Mom was a faithful Latter-day Saint and truly loved her religion. She served in many callings and was a faithful visiting teacher right up to her death. Mom took loving care of and worried about everyone. She was always joking with everyone she met and loved to laugh. It was what made her happy.
Mom was known for her pop corn balls, her beautiful yard full of flowers and her service to others. She worked side by side with our dad on the farm for 55 years. You could see them walking through the fields holding hands.
She worked at the Dew Drop Cafe which was where the Beaver Laundermat is today, and her favorite job, a cook at Belknap Elementary for 20 years, touching the lives of many of the students.
The most important blessing to Mom was her family. After eight long years, Mom is now reunited with her own true love, our Dad. We love you mom and grandma.
She is survived by her five children, Ellen Stucki of St. George, Janet (Keith) Anderson & Joyce Marie (Raymond) Goodwin all of Beaver, Retta (Mike) Spencer of LaVerkin and Al J. (Jennifer) Boyter of Beaver. She has 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and her trusted dog "Chevy." One brother, David Dunton of Washington D.C., and one sister Audrey Gilger of Hurricane. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Step Mother, Virginia Dunton and two sisters Anna Mae Honsvick and Jennie Hart.
