–on Nov. 27, 1865 purchased the adjacent 40 acres of the SE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 34, Town of Eaton with farmstead at 9122 Glen Flora Road
–on Jan. 30, 1875 sold this 80 acre farm to his son Charles Winkel
–is shown in the 1870 Eaton census as living here with his wife Louise and children Charles [born in 1853] and daughter Louise [born 1855]
–died in Milwaukee County) –buried at Bethlehem UCC Cemetery, Town of Schleswig [death record in Milwaukee County]
