Lura Burton was born December 12, 1949 in Johnstown, MS to Wilburt and Ruby Burton, and she went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2009. Lura was a strong woman who had a genuine love for people, and she will be missed by family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and nephew Elton Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory, loving sons, Ronell Burton of Elyria, OH, Gerald Burton, Justin Burton, and Jason Saunders, all of Columbus, OH; grandsons, Byron and Brandon; sisters, Loree Jones and Dorthy Bryant; brothers, Ob Burton, Obra Burton, and Wilburt Burton, Jr., all of Columbus, OH; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
