J.C. Henry, age 80 of Buford, died December 14, 2009.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jimmie Doris (Cochran) Henry, his loving Yorkshire Terrier Peaches; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Charles Preston of Conover, NC; Vicki and Wayne Higgins of Buford; Debby and John Goin of Lawrenceville; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Calvin and Elaine Henry of Cornelia; grandchildren, Tatum Preston, Charlsye Preston, Whitfield Preston, Corey Higgins, Casey Carroll, Kelly Harris and Christopher Goin, Michelle Henry, Dorisi Cordero and Joseph Henry, great-grandchildren, Mariah, Sam and Cole Cordero, Sadie Harris, Savannah and Austin Higgins, Conner, Clay and Cannon Carroll, sister, Mae Hackney of Blue Ridge; special friend, Ralph Allen of Cumming. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeffery Michael Henry, brother Raymond Henry, and sister Faye Breeden.

The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8PM at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory Duluth Chapel.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel. Interment, White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
