On Mary Ellen's Ohio Deaths, his name is listed as Josepheus.
m. Mary Ellen (Gingerich)
s/o - Margaret Ellen (Lytle) and Joseph Randall.

RANDALL, Mary Ellen 1865-1922, wife of J. C. 1862-19
(submitted by Robert D. Craig to Butler Co., OH Gen Web Project.)

My records indicate their children (in birth order) were: Frank O., Mary H., Navina, Nettie, Olive Keturah, Edna May; Alberta; Willard, Frank C. Esther, Naomi.

The birth order I have is Mary, Navina, Nettie, Olive, Edna, Alberta, Willard, and Frank C. I believe that my grandmother was his housekeeper after my grandfather's death. I am under the impression that he disapproved of my grandparents being married.

More research is needed - ?After Mary Ellen passed, J.C. married - Wilda.
