Friends may call from 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, until service time at Potts Chapel of Independence. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Potts Chapel with Mrs. Kinsey's nephew, Larry Reynolds, officiating. A graveside committal will follow at Elk Falls Cemetery.
Beulah R. Kinsey was born on July 25, 1910, in Howard, Kansas, to Orville P. and Gertrude E. (Rose) Lewis. She attended school in Elk Falls. She married Earl E. Kinsey on October 27, 1928, and they were married for 76 years. He preceded her in death in December, 2004. Before her retirement, she worked at her family business, Kinsey's Auto Salvage.
Survivors include one son: Ronald Kinsey, Independence, Kansas; four daughters: Joanne Dunbar, Afton, Oklahoma, Weetta Cranor, Caney, Kansas, Donnita Lewis, Festus, Missouri, and Pamela Warren, Independence, Kansas; one brother: Orville P. Lewis Jr., Arlington, Washington; four sisters, Mary Royce, Andover, Kansas, Lolabell Schultz, Wichita, Kansas, Ethel Winkess, Arlington, Washington, and Nina Duckett, Elk Falls, Kansas; 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Barnhart.
