Remarkable Young Man Died in DuBois Yesterday
Earnest Dahl, aged 19 years, died yesterday at the home of his parents on South avenue. The remains will be buried tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.
Although Mr. Dahl was nineteen years of age at the time of his death, he never walked a step in his life, never made an articulate sound and never ate anything but soup and milk. Mr. Dahl was born in a condition of paralysis, and the only parts of his body that ever allowed any development were his ears, teeth and head. The body and lower limbs never grew to any extent and during his nineteen years he was always dressed in a garment similar to that worn by small infants.
During the entire nineteen years that the young man had lived he required constant attention, and the devotion of his mother is shown in the fact that she had been absent from him but two days during his life time.
