MYTON, Duchesne County, Funeral services for Earl Lorenzo Babcock, 74, Myton, who died Tuesday in a Salt Lake City hospital, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Myton Ward Chapel. He was the father of Arthur Babcock of Provo. Mr. Babcock was born Dec. 17, 1896, in Harper, Carbon County, a son of John R. and Augusta Mae Hanchett Babcock. He married Faith Curtis on Nov. 17, 1920, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a farmer and cattleman.

Survivors include his widow, Myton; two sons and three daughters, LeRoy Babcock, Kearns; Arthur Babcock, Provo; Mrs. Richard (Vonda) Dietz, Show Low, Ariz.; Mrs. Richard (Dora) Wymer, Roosevelt; Mrs. Bert (Erma) Allred, Myton; 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Belva Curtis, Myton. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary in Roosevelt tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock and Saturday at the chapel from 11:30 a.m. until time of services.
