He was born March 26, 1887 in Greene County, Pa., son of the late David and Lucy Barnett Durbin.
He was a retired employee of the Cross-Blackwell Canning Co., Baltimore, Md.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Parson Durbin in 1964, one son, two brothers, and three sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dana (Opal) Chapline of Glen Easton, and Mrs. Thomas (Jessie) Minton of Cameron; two sons, Charles (Gladys) of Rock Lick, and Wilbert of Tuscarora, Md., one sister, Mrs. Olga Roupe of Sparrows Point, Md., thirty two grandchildren and thirty seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
