Services for Wanda Harmon, 81, of Tyler, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, at Lloyd James Funeral chapel with the Rev. Curtis Crofton officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harmon passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, in Tyler.
She was born on Aug. 24, 1928, in Nehawka, Neb., to the late Silas and Vetta Andrew.
She was an accountant for 30 years for George P. Bane Inc., a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the United Commercial Travelers. She had been a resident of Tyler since 1956.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Harmon; bro-ther, John Andrew; and sister, Betty Freeman.
She is survived by her sons, Greg Harmon and wife Ligia of Tyler and Curtis Harmon and wife Debbie of Whitehouse; and daughter, Becky Hill and husband Richard of Africa; grandchildren, Alan Harmon, Andrew Harmon, Heather Harmon, Lisa Hoekstra, Chris Harmon, Jon Harmon, Kim Harmon, Ross Harmon, Alex Harmon, Hannah Hill and Lydia Hill; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Chris Harmon, Ross Harmon, Alan Harmon, Andrew Harmon, Alex Harmon and Curtis Lane.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
