He was born Dec. 15, 1914 in Orem, to Alford and Rose Buckler Skinner. He married Willda Pauline Laird Aug. 25, 1935. She passed away in May 2000.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He loved working in his beautiful rose garden. He worked in the coal mines for over 50 years and was a member of the UMWA. He was also a member of the LDS Church and BPOE 1550.
Arnold is survived by children, Joyce Marion Freeman (Lonnie Wells), of Kentucky; Phill and Tina Skinner of Price; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by brother, Lyman; and sisters, Ruby Gull and Ina Reeves. In addition to his wife, Arnold was preceded in death by daughter, Karma and six brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 19, 2 p.m., in the Fausett Mortuary Chapel in Price, 680 E. 100 So., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Private burial services will be held in the Provo City Cemetery.
