PERU -- Claude H. Begley, 59, Bunker Hill, died in Veterans Hospital, Indianapolis, at 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
He was born Feb. 12, 1907, in Raton, New Mexico. His marriage on Oct 9, 1944, was to Maxine Hollenback, who survives.
Mr. Begley was a carpenter and a member of the Local No. 60, Indianapolis. He had lived in the Bunker Hill community for the past 20 years. moving there from California. He was a member of the VFW, Bunker Hill.
Funeral services will be in the Allen Funeral Home, Bunker hill, at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Robert Melling will officiate and burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery.
