Mr. Bohannon was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the American Legion Post #220 and of the Teamsters Local 89. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Estes Bohannon; 3 children, Barbara Garrison, Teresa Livers, Webster, KY, Walter Bohannon Jr., Louisville, KY; a brother, Henry Bohannon, FL; a sister, Darlene Hardesty, Louisville, KY; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, with entombment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-9 PM Monday and after 9 AM Tuesday.
