Frances Irving, age 81, of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2006 at her home. She was born August 20, 1924 in Bloomberg, Texas to Charles Chester and Drusilla (Lummus) Jones. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Karen Irving of George West, Texas; one daughter, Sarah Philips of Red Oak; one brother, Raleigh Jones of Baytown, TX; one sister, Dorothy Parnell Edwards of Waxahachie; four grandsons, Jeff Irving and his wife Monica, Chris Irving and his wife Amber, Wyatt Philips and Jake Philips; one great granddaughter, Karalyn Irving and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Washington Morgan Irving, Jr.; two brothers, Geoffrey Jones and Travis Jones and one sister, Scharlene Brawner. Graveside services were at 1 pm Thursday, January 12, 2006 at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving with Reverend Bruce Irving officiating.
