JOSHUA AARON GEORGE, 17, of Bluffton, S.C., died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, from injuries suffered in a car wreck early Sunday morning. Josh was a junior at Bluffton High School and captain of the varsity soccer team. A very popular student, known for his compassion and sense of humor, he was always a caretaker of others. Joshua will be an organ donor, so that he may continue to help others. He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Mackey George; his sister, Jessica; his brother, Jacob; his grandparents, Charles and Leona Mackey of Huntington, W.Va., and Louis and Betty George of Hilton Head; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Josh will be buried beside his father, United States Air Force Major, Aaron C. George, at Woodmere Memorial Park on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Joshua Aaron George Memorial Scholarship Fund at Sun Trust Bank in Bluffton, S.C.
