CHURCH GRAVEYARD LATER GREW. THE FLINT HILL METHODIST CHURCH WAS
ESTABLISHED IN 1894.

IN A DEED OF GIFT DATED AND RECEIVED 2 MAY 1809 IN FRANKLIN County, DEED BOOK
RRR, P. 114, MARBIL STONE NAMES HIS CHILDREN JOHN, R., WALTER, JOSHUA, &
WASHINGTON STONE AND DAUGHTER Frances JACSON PITMAN.

MRS. Frances J. PITTMAN, WIDOW OF ICHABOD, DIED AT THE HOME OF HER SON
JOSEPH IN PAULDING County, GA. SOURCE: "SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN ADVOCATE," FEB 19,
1857 ISSUE. THE NOTICE READS, "MRS. Frances J. PITTMAN, WAS BORN IN

PITTMAN...JOINED THE BAPTIST CHURCH WHILE ON A VISIT TO HER FRIENDS IN
