A. EDMUND RINGEL

The death of Edmund Ringel was recorded in our last issue, the news having reached us as we were about to go to press. Further particulars concerning the young man's life and death are given as follows:
Edmund A. Ringel was born at Elkhart Lake on the 4th day of February, 1890. He was educated in the Elkhart Lake graded school and attended the Plymouth high school from which he graduated. While attending the high school he was an apprentice as a barber and later followed this trade. Mr. Ringel was married to Miss Lucy Warner of Plymouth, on Oct. 8, 1914 at St. Paul's Episcopal church. They moved to Winona, Minn., to reside, where Mr. Ringel worked as a barber for a while, later establishing himself in business. He conducted his parlors until Oct. 18th, when he was taken ill with a very bad cold, which later developed into pneumonia, causing his death on Tuesday at 5:30 o'clock in the morning. He is survived by his wife, a little daughter aged 3 years, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ringel and one brother Arno in Kiel.Mrs. Paul Ringel, his mother, went to Winona when her son was taken ill and faithfully remained at his bedside night and day until the end.
The following persons from Plymouth attended the funeral services which were held Friday at the Kiel cemetery: Wm. Warner, Walter Warner, Mrs. Herby Pfrang. - 1918
