Helen Lytle, 98, Riverton, WY, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at Wind River Healthcare in Riverton. Services were held Monday, March 12 at 10 a.m. from the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Pastor Tim Sersen of Faith Lutheran Church in Lander officiated. Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery, Riverton. Pallbearers were nephews Howard, Norman and Paul Everett, Bob, Rob and Randy Cragoe. Services were under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Helen Eldora (Hauglid) Lytle was the 11th of 15 children born to Andrew and Emma (Larson) Hauglid. She was born December 4, 1902, on a farm in Springwater Township, Rock County, Minnesota. Helen married Arthur "Pat" Lytle on November 18, 1926, in Pipestone, Minnesota. Pat and Helen moved to wisconsin and then lived in Tuberose, Saskatchewan, Canada, from 1928 to 1939. They moved back to Wisconsin in 1939 and remained there until 1951. They then moved to Phoenix and from there to Los Angeles, California area. Helen and Pat had eight childdren, 36 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. Helen's husband died in 1961. In August of 1968, Helen moved to Riverton to live with her sister, Marge Cragoe. They lived together for 28 years. Helen spent the past six and a half years at Wind River Healthcare. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She enjoyed being with her family, music, dancing and playing cards. "she always had a special smile for everyone," the family says, adding, " Aunt Helen was a special lady in the lives of Bob and Bernice Cragoe and family. They feel they were truly blessed to have her as a special auntie." She is survived by seven children, Mike and Ruth Lytle, and Ike Lytle, Georgia; Joe Lytle and Marion and Ben McCoy of California; Gordon and Gloria Lytle and Bob and Arlene Lytle of Wisconsin; Harry and Judi Lytle of South Carolina; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Ella Campbell and husband,Jim of Arizona and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Pat; seven sisters; six brothers; one son, Jerry; daughter-in-law, Nancy Lytle; grandsons, Arthur Lytle, Jerry Lee Lytle, Frankie Lytle, Jason Lytle, Ricky Lytle, and great-grandsons, Jason Bautz and William Lytle.
