The community was shocked by the sudden death of Shirley Talboe, a student of the D. C. H. S. who died after a ruptured appendix operation last Friday. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Talboe of Myton.
She is survived by her parents, three sisters, Freda, Dorthea and Phyllis and one brother, A. C. of Myton. Shirley was born at Castle Dale, October 6, 1912. They came to the Basin in 1917 and have resided since.
Interment was in the Myton cemetery.
